Hundee Baruumsa Warqinaa Dachaasa (known as WADA, meaning Promise) gain the support of the Education Bureau in Oromia, elects board members and is certified as a legally constituted body.

First meeting of international support group with 50 potential activists. Group meets regularly. Contact us to join.

Applied for Bank Account Fundraising targets agreed

Constitution adopted

It was agreed that we would apply for registration as a Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO) whose members are its trustees.

Officers elected

Aster Dechasa be elected as Chair, Siobhan Crawley Vice-chair, Feyisa Demi, Treasurer and Brian Foster, Secretary.

First meeting Workneh Dechasa Education Foundation

12 family and friends meet via Zoom and agree to form organisation to establish a school in Workneh’s memory in his home village. Meetings to be held every fortnight.
