Fund raising

  • Muluneh & Siobhan need to work out which crowdfunding sites to use.
  • Contributions The target is £10K to make this a reality – if we have 100 people contributing then everyone will need to contribute £100. If 50 people contribute £200 per month etc. We have 30 firm supported who can be approached. Rough estimate would be 30 people giving £300 then we will reach the target. Feyisa suggested pledges by Trustees and supporter with a recommended minimum contributions that are transferred each month for a given number of months, so that we know how much can be raised using this strand.
  • Go Funding £20K through sponsored activities. Plan to be shared once it has been drawn up
  • Muluneh and Siobhan to meet up and discuss on Zoom
  • Email all Trustees with a recommended minimum contribution of £50 per month for the next 8 months. No maximum limit so obviously give as much as you can subject to bank account being opened!
  • Agree to backdate all contribution to July 2021 depending on bank account being openedBrian to update at next meeting
  • Review March 2020

  • Aster to deliver the forms to Lydia at Barclays Bank on Monday 12th July

Risk Assessment

  • Siobhan to email Risk assessment to all Trustees and their responses/agreement sought and reported at next meeting.
